Training, seminars and non formal education
UniTS organises and develops training courses addressed to professionals of the Not-for-Profit Sector and Local Authorities on the following topics:
- Project Management
- Organisational Management
- Team building
- Partnership
- Intercultural Communication
- Intercultural learning
- Problem solving
- Prevention and contrast of violence
- Advocacy
UniTS implements training activities through the following methodologies:
- Training courses
Training courses are organised at different levels considering the organisation needs, with didactic and innovative educational methods like e-learning and appropriate software. Lessons are provided by qualified teachers and trainers selected by the scientific didactic committee.
- Seminars
Seminars have different themes and topics, and usually are divided in three parts: presentation of the subject, work groups monitored by the trainers; and evaluation.
- Non formal education
Non formal education refers to education which takes place outside of the formally organised school and the main goal is to “Learn by doing”. Most of the training courses are organised at international level.

The Newsletter
The newsletter is published monthly by UniTS and includes information about grants, funds and programmes from the European Commission, as well as national and local institutions which promote projects in the Not-for-Profit Sector.

Project planning
UniTS plans and implements national and international projects, also in cooperation with associations and institutions of the Not-for-Profit Sector. On their behalf, UniTS can take care of all stages of project implementation as well as of single phases (partner finding, planning, project coordination, implementation of activities, financial management). Since its foundation UniTS implemented projects in the framework of both various European programmes such as Leonardo da Vinci, Socrates, Grundtvig, Youth, Daphne, INTI, Community Action in the field of Public Health, Equal, Horizon, Youthstart, and national programmes as European Social Funds, National Observatory for Voluntary Service, Centres to support the Voluntary Service, etc.
